Topmail Discontinuing Free Service: FAQS

This FAQ is for users of Topmail's free email service. On 1st December 2016 our free service will be discontinued. This FAQ applies only to users who have been part of our free service.

Can I keep my existing email?

Yes you can keep your existing email. Follow the link that was issued to you by Topmail and signup for a subscription.

What if I didn't receive a link to purchase my existing email?

Visit Resend Account Upgrade Link and enter your email address. A subscription link will be emailed to you automatically.

Can I have the same address, instead of my country specific Topmail?

If you use an address,, or and you want to change to the same address, then you can. We have reserved all those addresses. If you want to pursue this option then contact us at:

Why should I pay for an email address?

What do I do if I don't want to pay a subscription?

Topmail's free email service is being discontinued. As a result, you will need to arrange a new email address. You should notify all your contacts of your new address. In addition you can use our IMAP service to download a copy of your historical emails.

Why are you discontinuing the free service?

We need to guarantee the system's security. We need to keep the system free of spam, phishing and viruses. In order to be able to do that we have to create sustainable funding for the platform.

Why don't you introduce advertising to keep the system free?
